How do I register?

From Home Page click New Account. This will lead to a page that gives details on what information is required to open an account.

From Home Page click New Account. This will lead to a page that gives details on what information is required to open an account. Have the information ready before attempting to open an account.

What is a Main Contact?

A Main Contact is the Primary Contact for the account. The Main Contact has the privilege of creating additional users and allocating a password for each account. The Main Contact is also in-charge of the account and can view all of the Sub User(s) transactions.

Who are Sub Users?

There can be multiple Sub Users under a single account. Sub Users can perform the same functionalities as the Main Contact except for the following:

  • They cannot change the password or profile.
  • They cannot see the account summary or account details.

What are the different plans available?

Available Plans for the Freight Forwarder can be accessed under My Account > Plan > My Plan.

How do I pay?

The normal payment method accepted is via Credit Card or an EFT Bank Payment. If the company has arrangements with OperSoft, then payment upon receipt of Invoice is acceptable.

What is My OperSoft?

My OperSoft is a status page for the following:

  • Messages from OperSoft
  • Messages from Partners
  • Payment Terms
  • Actions Pending
  • Archives

What is My Account?

My account allows you to do the following:

  • View Account Statement
  • View Transaction Summary
  • Request for Credit if you are not happy with transactions
  • View, Extend, Change or Cancel your Plan
  • View and Edit your Profile
  • Manage Sub Users (only for the Main Contact)
  • Manage your Password
  • Manage your Partners

What is my Account Statement?

The Account Statement provides details for your purchases, payments, and adjustments.

Where can I see my Transaction Summary?

You can view your Transaction Summary in My Account > Transactions. You will be able to view the following details:

  • Number of transactions deposited to your account
  • Transactions used
  • Adjustments
  • Service Credits

How do I make a Service Credit Request?

Go to My Account > Customer Service / Credit Requests.

Service requests are self-managed. If the system does not accept your credit request the please contact a OperSoft Customer Service representative either by messenger, phone, or email.

What is my present Plan?

You can view your present plan by going to My Account > Plan > My Plan.

How do I change My Plan?

To change your plan go to My Account > Plan > Change Plan.

How do I cancel my Plan?

You can cancel your plan anytime and an updated Invoice will be displayed immediately. To cancel the plan go to My Account > Plan > Cancel Plan.

How do I edit my Account Profile?

You can edit your Account Profile by going to My Account > Account Profile and then select the Edit button.

How do I change my Password?

The Main Contact can change their password in the My Account > Manage Password screen. The Main Contact can also modify the Sub User's passwords in the My Account > Manage Sub Users > Sub User Listing screen.

What are Terms?

A Freight Forwarder can maintain a library of terms that they use depending on the circumstances. These are basically payment terms that include details related to business transactions. OperSoft Terms of Use will override the terms mentioned by the Freight Forwarder. You can create your terms in two ways:

  • Go to My OperSoft > Terms to create, edit, or remove the terms.
  • The My OperSoft page has a link directing you to the Terms page.

What details can I have in Terms?

You can enter everything related to Terms except the following:

  • Personal Contact Information
  • Service Pricing

How do I Search and Quote a Shipper's Freight?

Go to Quote Freight > Quote Freight and enter your search criteria for the the search results.

How do I view the status of my Freight Quotes?

Quote Status can be viewed in four ways:

  • Go to Quote Freight > Quote Requests.
  • Go to View Quotes > Accepted Quotes.
  • Go to View Quotes > All Quotes.
  • The My OperSoft screen also lists a summary of all the Quotes at various stages.

Can I cancel submitted Quotes?

You cannot Cancel the quote after submission. The Quote can be cancelled by the Shipper or if the Quote extends beyond the Valid Till Date.

When will I see the Shipper's name?

As soon as Shipper accepts your Quote, you will have the opportunity to view the Shipper's name.

When do I contact the Shipper?

The Shipper's contact details such as Name, Address, Phone Number, Fax, email address, and other Contact Details will be displayed upon acceptance.

How will the Shipper pay me?

Payment depends on the terms of your quote. If the terms are payment in advance then the shipper pays in advance. If you offer 30 days credit, then the shipper has to pay after 30 days. If the terms are payment in advance through TPBP then you will receive payment via the TPBP conditions.

How do I see a Transaction Flow?

Go to History > Transaction Flow. Once you enter the Transaction Number(s), you will be able to view the entire process flow for the Quote.
